Honors College Graduation

Honors students who in addition to satisfying all College of Charleston requirements, complete all of the Honors College course requirements, and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.40 will graduate from the Honors College and have the distinguished notation of “Honors College Graduate” on their transcript. Typically, the Honors College holds a ceremony and reception the Friday directly prior to the College’s graduation day.* Details about the time and location of the Honors ceremony are finalized during spring semester. Graduating seniors receive an electronic invitation to the ceremony and reception in their CofC e-mail accounts. An invitation is mailed also to the home address of the student. Immediate families of graduates are welcome to attend the graduation ceremony and reception.
