The College of Charleston's Literacy Outreach Initiative is in full swing. The initiative is in conjunction with the College Reads! book selection, Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Rein. As part of the initiative, over 325 students, many of them Honors students, are volunteering their time promoting literacy in the community at Charleston County K-12 schools. <<Read More>>

Congratulations to Honors College graduate Jamilla Harper and Political Science major Keri Hunigan who will receive Rotary Scholarships. Jamilla plans to study in South Africa and Keri will study in Colombia.
