Inside Our Living-Learning Community
Graduates of the Honors College unanimously agree that choosing to live in Honors College housing is one of the best decisions you can make, especially as an incoming student. Meeting new people is easier in this friendly, community environment where the support of students with similar study habits makes for a smoother transition from high school to college.
At present, our Honors Living-Learning Community is housed in the Buist wing of Rivers Residence Hall. A mostly first-year community, Buist-Rivers is set up in a traditional community style, where students have a single roommate, and share a bath with their hall.
We are pleased to announce that next year, Honors housing will be moving to Berry Residence Hall. With more beds, suite-style accomodations, a large kitchen and reserved space for faculty and staff offices, and a designated classroom, the move to Berry will elevate the Honors Living-Learning Community beyond just special-interest housing.
