Honors Student Association

The goal of the Honors Student Association (HSA) is to enhance the CofC Honors community--for all students in the Honors College.

Members of HSA's Executive Council work closely with the Honors College staff to plan academic, service, and social events for members of the Honors community.

HSA events include an Ice Cream Social Welcome in August, a pumpkin-carving event in late October, a holiday party in December, Book and Bake Sales in February, and a semi-formal event in April.  In addition, the association organizes community service projects and leadership activities on and off campus.  HSA activities are funded with SGA funds and with additional money raised by the students at fundraising activities held throughout the year.

Being active in the Honors Student Association is a great way to get involved on campus and meet other Honors College students. HSA's Executive Council provides an opportunity for students to gain leadership experience. New student officers are elected to their positions each year. Any student who would like to play a role in organizing and carrying out the mission of HSA is encouraged to contact the HSA president and come to Executive Council meetings!
